1. The menu design contest will be closing up on Friday. So far my attempt to get other people to do my work for me has yielded no entries. So if you actually enter something, you stand a good chance of beating my design. Even if you’re not a designer, forward it to your friend who is. If nobody enters anything, I’m going to do what I can to improve my design and launch it. The polling may be negative, but it’s a small sample, and I’m sure that what I’ve designed is better than the current clutter.
2. The close out sale has been a moderate success. I sold enough that I should finally be able to get cafepress to cut me a check in a couple of weeks or so. If you ever wanted to buy some of my merchandise, do it soon, because the shop’s closing as soon as I know I’m getting my dollars.
3. The book’s not happening anytime soon. Thanks to all who helped out by spreading the word and waiving their rights. Long story short, I just don’t see myself making this thing happen in the near future. Sorry to get everyone’s hopes up.
4. The Capper Wiki is still growing, but it could ceratainly use any help you want to throw its way. There are around fifty pages waiting to be written on the wanted pages list (the ones marked “user:” should probably just be linked to capper profiles, but that’s one of those decisions nobody’s made yet.) Pick something on that list that you know about, or some other capping subject that you want to document, read the getting started section if you need it, and crack to. They’re not gonna’ write themselves.
