Sorry - I keep forgetting to link the main Turkey Day page which in turn points to Inventing Situations itself. That's where you can go to caption screengrabs of the movies next week. This week, like the rest of the year it's grabs from films that mostly didn't appear on mst.

Since I try to avoid copyright violations here, I'm actually showing the original versions of films I believe are in the public domain. The version I have (acquired for zilch via public domain torrents) clocks in at 75 minutes, has maybe an extra minute more of skin than the mst version had and still lacks genuine frontal nudity, so it's probably not the racy version. Maybe next year.

Actually, there was a longer, racier version of Horrors of Spider Island. Most of us have seen the "cut" version but this original version was 9min. longer and shows lots more flesh and "adult situations", bare boobs, etc. I got a kick out of the cut version of the flick (I bought the "50 Sci-Fi Movies" collection for $18 from an Amazon store. Certainly worth the money.

I've never seen the MST3K spoof of it. It looks to me like you're talking about showing the MST3K version on Turkey Day and that sounds great, but, because I'm new to some of this...the blogs...can you tell me how I can get to see it? I mean, what do I do? I'll be sitting in front of the 'puter here in Panama with a tv tray and hoping to get to watch...but how?

Thanks. and thanks for making it available.

Sincerely,
rock

I use the email above because it can quickly and easily be typed with one hand (the other hand on the mouse) while remaining relatively unspammed. Try having "rock" in your email name and see how much spam you get in comparison to the random letters and numbers in my email.
