Turkey Week Graffiti Wall
Here we are at last, our week long marathon of turkeys at Inventing Situations. Since this is one of our highest traffic times and folks have requested a way to better keep track of who’s coming and going, I’m making this post mainly so you can go ahead add your comments to say things like “are you looking for me? you missed me, but I’ll be back at 5″ or “I’m gonna try to make it for the Friday Mitchell” or “wow, that new PayPal button is really sweet” or “sorry, had to go dip the kids in gravy”. You know post-it note sort of stuff. Thx to keogh and ReptilianSamurai for pestering me for a feature like this.

Well, I have no real idea of when I’ll be there, but I’m aiming for sometime Thursday evening (EST). But who can predict these things, really? I’m like the wind. (Annoying and occasionally full of hot air?)

No Robert Denby this week. I think his two shorts are due around the middle of December, but don’t quote me on that.

A pity - no Gemini Man, I didn’t think so and I’m not disappointed, but a pity anyway.
I may be by later on Wednesday a lot if I get my wireless working by then, I hope. Caught some of ‘Crash of the Moons’ earlier today for the first time - boy is that a great movie for riffing or what ! Thx.

Feeling a little under the weather. Gotta eat something (ironic, no?). Need to clean a little, too. Hope to be in and out during the day, but I’ll really try for the evening sometime.
November 23rd, 2006 at 2:18 pm
I’m off to my folks soon. Will probably be back late evening, so if anything goes foul between now and then, umm, you guys are on your own.

Turkey Quiche
3 cups leftover stuffing
1 cup chopped turkey
1 cup grated swiss cheese
4 eggs, beaten
1 can evaporated milk (5 1/2 oz)
1/8 tsp pepper
Press stuffing into 9″ pie plate. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour into baked shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes, until center is set. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Whew, great run everybody! I saved 130 gallery pages, so look for a turkey day spectacular at my site in a couple of weeks!

Let us know, Zee, whenever that day cometh by (I missed most of Turkey Week this time, and I really mean missed).
- By the way, I’ve been to Istanbul, and I like pie.

That pot pie quiche recipe looks great except we don’t usually have that much left over stuffing even if we make an extra bowl of it. We are hogs and that’s all there is to it.
Thanks Sooz. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and didn’t eat to much turkey or pie.
