It's a trackback. Ordinarily they (a) come from other blogs commenting on your posts and (b) quote the begining of the actual article instead of all the boilerplate that appears before it.

BUT, the trackback is coming from inside the house to help people follow the thread no matter where they start. I'm not sure what started wordpress misquoting when it does a trackback, but I get them too infrequently to lose much sleep over it. Hopefully the latest upgrade fixed it.

( Um... what's that last entry? it looks strange and purposeless... last time I saw something like that, my remarking on it got it edited out of the Wikipedia system... )
( No need to preserve this comment, if the subject of it is gone. )

Additional note: fans of Mr. Bean/Blackadder, aka Rowan Atkinson ( ref: www.imdb.com/name/nm0000100/ ), might be interested to know that 'Zorro's Fighting Legion' stars one 'John English', presumably no relation to Atkinson's Johnny English... but you never know.

Another PRO for Dick Tracey:
Imagine the opportunity for Dick [mangled:] Chacey jokes, etc.

But I'd vote for Zorro Faking Leghorn as a second choice - esp. if it's a total unknown.
