Capping Cappers
After sitting on these pics for far too long, I’m finally going to
give you good people a chance to cap your fellow cappers from our
capfest last month in NYC here, at Inventing Situations. And since I don’t have that many pics, I’m padding the occasion out with a showing of the film whose msting made Matteus come down and caused the gathering in the first place, Dial Comes to Town, then showing the pics another time for latecomers.
The times? Tuesday 4/17 3 PM Eastern and again Thursday 4/19 8 PM eastern.
And for you interested parties, writing on the next wiki msting, Rest
and Health starring Dick York, has begun. The writer’s audition is being clever enough to find the page.
And one more thing, if you haven’t visited Inveting Situations lately, on your next visit be sure to notice the new hopefully easier to read color scheme and nifty buzzword enabled auto-refresh gallery. It’s not just for lurker’s anymore. Though the lurker’s gallery is still available with this link.

D’oh! I missed yesterday’s showing and I definitely won’t get to Thursday’s showing! Will these pics be phased into the regular rotation, or have I simply missed my chance?

D’oh! Thanks.

Double D’oh! I thought I missed it too. Hopefully they’ll be a reminder in the egroup for the *cough* memory challenged *cough* cappers.

Heck, I’m memory challenged enough that you guys are lucky that I remember to run the stuff.

To confess, I too had this “Oh heck I’ve missed it already!” feeling that others seem to have run with.
But also, I lost the feeling after 10 seconds: I re-read the dates, and the date on my PC, and got it clear.
So - there’s some basic, primeval likeness in cappers, it seems, that made this mistake somehow inherent in us all. What could it beee?

It could be that I need to find a good style guide on announcing dates. That’s why I started avoiding adjectives like ‘next’ that depend on how and when and who reads it.
