Thanks for the heads up, Sampo. I'll trust your authority on this one. I've updated this year's listings to reflect the issue, but I'm going to call this one 'close enough for now'. On the off chance that I get a chance, I'll try to regrab it to emphasize the footage common to both versions.

FYI--the "Chicken of Tomorrow" short you link to in the Prelinger Archives is not the same short that was used in the episode. It uses some of the same footage, and some of the same narration, but it's different in many places. Take a look.

PS: I don't know if it matters, but the non-response of the radio button element that appears when click on Add an Answer, is accompanied by a brief darkening to gray... the radio buttons above it behave normally and don't show any gray (selection of any of which also causes the radio-button-&-[blank]text-field to go away)... which suggests vaguely that maybe the Add an Answer-produced radio button element is (seen as) Disabled, that would match the graying-out-but-not-responding behavior, since gray is the default 'disabled element' color. More or less.

What a mtn out of a molehill I've made of it. Slight apologies.

Cosmopolitan, "How I Lost My Anonymity!"

No, seriously: my choice was, "Joey the Lemur". He needs his ass kissed.

Couldn't add it, because A. though the 'radio button' and 'text-field' appeared, and I could type into the text-field, I could NOT activate the radio button (would not react when clicked upon by mouse pointer), nor did clicking on the select button do anything. Only way I could change it after that was, by Reload-ing the page (Refresh or Ctrl-r).

Thanks.

in another thread, UpSky2 asks
(An irrelevant question - except it's about features - and it's been bothering me awhile:)
Why doesn't Add An Answer (see upper left on this page or its freshly-reloaded version) work for me? on hardly any of the computers I've tried it on ?
Something in the technology used by that widget, but may I know what? Don't have to put the answer in public.
Examining the Source tag doesn't reveal much to me... And BTW, View Results always works fine, and Vote usually works too.

No clue. Is it that nothing happens when you click "add an answer" or nothing happens when you try to vote with your new answer? At any rate, fixing this may require finding a new plugin for polls or somesuch, so while you're waiting for that to happen, you may want to just tell me the choice so I can add it. Provided you don't mind losing your anonymity.
