Most of the capping I get to do is over on that <i>other</i> site, where saving personal favorites is sort of already being done. I guess I'm not as worried about captions disappearing into the either as I used to be. That, and I'm too lazy to start a gallery again. I do like the sound of this new feature, though. It seems like it would be especially helpful it allowing you to cap and <i>then</i> go back and pull captions for gallery inclusion, rather than frantically trying to do both at the same time. If I <i>was</i> going to create a gallery, I could definitely see using this. It’s been so long since I even thought about keeping a caption gallery. I hardly do maintenance on the galleries as it is. I can crop an image in far less time and keystrokes than it takes to enter the text of the caption.
