An IS favorite gets the Rifftrax treatment : A Visit to Santa
Over the years, a lot of you have enjoyed, suffered through, endured or just plain missed copious opportunities to riff on stills from the atrocious promotional film, A Visit to Santa on IS. Well, now this string of blown bulbs has gotten the full Rifftrax on demand treatment. [Technical aside: if you installed the divx player as admin on windows, you've got to run it as admin. If it insists you upgrade, that may be the problem.] To celebrate its Rifftraxing, it’ll be running again on IS at 1 PM on Christmas.
Maybe you cappers can remember themes you hit on in previous IS showings that also appeared in the professional version. I know those tacky tacky Christmas cards I sold through cafepress a few years back used a screengrab from this movie and a joke very similar to the one in the Rifftrax. Of course, one of the reasons I felt comfortable selling such tacky cards was because the joke was almost mandatory, so I don’t feel particularly ripped off or proud. Ok, maybe a little proud, or I’d have kept my mouth shut about it.

In other news the Cinematic Titanic initial offering just went live, but sounds like it won’t be arriving until the new year. Damn internets tubes clogged with rights issues or something.
